I AM AN ACTIVE WRITER BY PROFESSION AND A POET BY MY HEART. I WRITE TRAVEL ARTICLES, CHILDREN'S BOOKS, GREETING CARDS, FORTUNE COOKIES & BOOK REVIEWS, almost anything that sounds fun.

I am 5 ft..4 in, 118 lbs. I am physically active, work out 5 days a week and enjoy life. The glass is definitely half full. I live on the 6th floor OVERLOOKING THE BOATS OF MARINA DEL REY off to the ocean AND LOVE THE WATER.

I am financially secure and like traveling, hiking, dining out, snuggling in, the theater, movies, art, music, reading and especially long walks and good talks. For a writer, it sounds kind of trite but true.

I was an anthropology major at UCLA and love studying everything about mankind from evolution to psychology to philosophy.

I am a published poet, romantic, sensitive and loyal. I am a Christian so deep, honest communication is very important to me. If cornered for a personal analysis, I would say that I am attractive, intelligent, affectionate, fit, vivacious, creative, thoughtful, giving, humorous, loyal and fun loving.

I have raised two sons who are out on their own down in San Diego. Now, it's time for me! I want to play and share fun times with someone special. A life filled with learning, loving and laughing is my fantasy future. If any of this resonates with you, perhaps we should talk!

I not only travel for work but love to travel. I have a fantasy that I am walking through an airport terminal, just getting off a flight, when I hear over the loud speaker an announcement for another flight to somewhere special, and I walk to the boarding gate and get on the plane. Here's a poem:

TRAVEL


I sip travel

like rare wine,

stuff myself

on far away places

like holiday feasts,

people as if morsels

of warm bread,

dipped in a culture

of cheese fondue,

warm and inviting.


I roll each one

around in my mouth,

savor the distinct tastes

and textures, swallow

them down with a fine

Bordeaux, then

off for dessert

in another land.
