I love people, animals, science, health & medicine (conventional & alternative). I am often complemented on my legs, eyes, hair, smile intelligence, & kind nature. My broad based education and a wide variety of experiences have made me versatile, tolerant, adaptable, compassionate, appreciative, perceptive, articulate, intuitive & highly intelligent. I am open with my feelings, passionate about my beliefs, pragmatic in my approach to life & generous with my time & attention. At present I have become am a bit heavyset with average to small features (picture is fuzzy, but was taken winter 2010). At present I am dealing with some health issues that sometimes limit my activity level so my weight bounces around. I try to always keep a positive outlook on life, pursue things that will stimulate my curiousity, perhaps even to educate me and focus my time & attention in a fun & beneficial manner. I enjoy spending time with friends & family, interacting with nature, playing with & walking my Australian Shep. mix, bike riding, several crafts, tai chi, swimming, bowling, music, dancing, laughter, exchanging information with & helping others. (Does anyone remember the "Golden Rule"?)I love spending time with others who also live by it. It would be wonderful to find someone to share in life's pleasures and to enjoy each other intellectually, physically, emotionally... I am still looking for a man with his heart & mind in such a place that he is secure enough to give of himself fully & in a reciprocal manner. I find personal relationships much more fulfilling when I am with a friend or lover with their heart in the right place, so they can express all their feelings and preferences. This opens the door for me also contribute my feelings & preferences to our relationship. I completely believe that the only things we have in our lives are those that we give away. When any tow people fully desire to provide each other with whatever it takes to make the other happy, they will also be happy. When one decides to enjoy what the other has to give ~ without a lot of concern for what they themselves are giving, that is the beginning of the end. healthy discussion of a wide variety of topics without taking any difference of opinion as being adversarial.

To never stop learning. For me everything in life is based on knowledge (I'm a scientist). Have you ever noticed how one piece of knowledge being added to a sitation can change everything? I love spending time with loved ones. What we do is not of great importance. I enjoy learning, exchanging ideas with others, especially those who can introduce me to novel concepts (learned either through education or life experiences.)
