No hurries, no worries, no expectations. A few of my favorite places: Anywhere in Brasil?beaches marrying into Atlantic rain forest. Add New Zealand, any season in Patagonia, a good star watching field, rooftops, sea floors, kitchen tables, rainy afternoons ... in other words, we don't have to do much for desire all starts in the mind. It's all about the conversation and somehow the setting transforms.

hmmm...I've been so lucky to do so much in my life thus far, from traveling, flying, dugout canoes on the Amazon, rafting, skydiving, hopping trains... I would love to learn anything, there is still much out there! Like scuba diving and sailing, ice climbing -- and I could never try all the wonders of culinary confections that are out there as well as recreate them with my own tweak. I want to build and grow sustainably, learning from all that others have to offer.

Some of my favorite things: chemical reactions-snow morphology-beer buzz-tequila-20hr busrides-hammer-hammock-mythology-archeology-maps-tundra-old trucks-dark-hotsprings-sailboats-dictionary-northern lights-ice cream-sharks-bears-calculus-drumbeats-chopping wood-PB&J-cartoons, to talk about the universe in terms of pickles, hopscotch around the world, enshrine/lament the use of dialogue, camera angles, plot development?not confined to just movies, play my hand at poker, play with words, play music?play in every sense-be it hiking with my dog (my "arm socket dislocating device") on trails tucked neatly away near a mountain or along the coast of a sunny isle, playing checkers with the locals in a small Mexican town or playing capture the flag with kids. It seems that asking questions is a lost art, therefore as any good archeologist who seeks to uncover a mystery, I find that simply listening and watching as the quiet drama of human spectacle unfolds is my own brand of Indiana Jones.
